A variant on the Columns game. Join distinct pieces of the same colour to create shapes that then disappear.

Colour Squares is a simple and also addictive game based on the popular Columns, with the aim of scoring the most points possible while destroying the pieces that appear on-screen.

To do this, you have to join together four shapes of the same colour and create one large one. This way they disappear and you have more space to create others and continue scoring points. The shapes fall from the top in columns of two. You can invert the order of them while you work below, and place them in the best way to try and form large shapes of the same colour and make them disappear and score more. Also, when you create a large shape, it's not only the shape that disappears, but also others of the same colour that are touching it. The more pieces you destroy at once, the bigger your score.

Colour Squares has up to ten difficulty levels, which vary in speed as they fall. 1 is the fastest and most difficult. However, it is also the highest scoring level.
